The private funeral for actress Farrah Fawcett is taking place at the Catholic cathedral of Our Lady of the Angels in downtown Los Angeles Tuesday.

The cameras of CNN were able to capture video as the actress' coffin, adorned with yellow and orange flowers, was taken out of the Cathedral by 5:17 p.m. PST back into a limousine, accompanied by the sound of bagpipes.

The former Charlie's Angles star died on Thursday at 62 after battling anal cancer for three years.

The funeral was set to start at 4pm PDT and Fawcett's son Raymond was allowed to leave prison for three hours to attend the funeral.
