Miss Oklahoma Olivia Jordan, the newly crowned Miss USA, won the prestigious beauty title Sunday night, besting 50 other gorgeous women. So here are some interesting facts about the newly crowned Miss USA.

Jordan, 26, beat Miss Texas Ylianna Guerra (who was first runner-up) and Miss Rhode Island Anea Garcia in being crowned a perfect example of beauty and brains. She has a bachelor's degree in health science from Boston University, the Associated Press reported. She has worked as a personal fitness trainer.

Jordan is a master of many endeavors, including acting. The blonde beauty has performed in several movies including "Hot Tub Time Machine 2," "Jobs" and "Ted,” her IMDb page says. Prior to competing in Miss USA, Jordan competed in Miss California and Miss World contests. The recent win has made her eligible to compete for Miss Universe pageant next year.

She is a dog lover and has a pet named Franklin, her Instagram shows. She calls herself Franklin's “mom” and often takes her dog for walks in the wee hours. She supports same-sex marriage and has posed for the pro-LGBT NoH8 campaign, Hollywood Life reported. Jordan posted the following message on her Instagram profile when the U.S. Supreme Court legalized same-sex marriage: “#LoveWins and it’s about time. Look forward to days in our future with #NoH8 #hope #love #equalityforall.”

She was chosen the winner after her response in the question-and-answer round where she was asked what she thinks could be the next big social issue in America. Jordan chose to speak about racial discrimination. "We have not solved this issue," she told a cheering crowd. "We really need to work on being an accepting society."
