Finland's IT services market is expected to remain flat at 2.8 billion euros ($4.1 billion) in 2009 year-on-year as companies postpone investment, but grow around 2 percent in 2010, a research report said on Monday.

The IT services market is also expected to grow again during 2010, particularly as postponed development investments are started, Finnish IT consultancy Marketvisio said.

Marketvisio said it expected the IT services market, including local top player Tieto, and accounting for roughly half of the IT sector, to grow around 2 percent in 2010.

A cautious positive sentiment is picking up among IT end-users, which is reflected in sales figures for 2010. Differences between branches and companies are, however, significant, Marketvisio said.
