AOL's MediaGlow on Monday said it has launched its free Pixcetera application on the Apple App Store for iPhone and iPod touch, which enables users to experience amazing photography.

Its key features include high-quality full-screen images in portrait or landscape, finger swipe and photo sharing ability to five daily featured galleries, plus thousands of galleries in more than 20 categories.

We're excited to be using original MediaGlow content to develop compelling iPhone and iPod touch apps focused on the topics users are most passionate about, said Bill Wilson, President of MediaGlow, following the successful launch of the popular AOL DailyFinance app on the App Store.

It also said its investment in the development of a series of innovative iPhone and iPod touch applications is due to out this year that allows users the ability to utilize the best features and innovations of the devices in conjunction with AOL's original content.

The Pixcetera and Daily Finance applications are available for free from Apple's App Store on iPhone and iPod touch or at www.itunes.com/appstore.
