Friend linked to John Edwards' Rielle Hunter scandal to speak

ABC News will air an interview with Andrew Young, a longtime friend and aide to former Sen. John Edwards who has written a book about Edwards' 2004 campaign and his extra marital affair with Rielle Hunter.

The interview will air January 29 on ABC News' 20/20.

Young will discuss his upcoming book The Politician and the Hunter scandal, the network reported according to the Associated Press.

In previous television interviews Edwards admitted to an affair with Ms. Hunter but denied he fathers' her daughter. Young has reportedly claimed Edwards had a child with her and hide the secret, the New York Times reported.
