Tyrion’s trial is a crucial turning point in the latest “Game of Thrones” Season 4 episode, and the story, along with Dinklage’s performance, is covered in three clips as well as the “Inside the Episode” feature.

In the “Game of Thrones Season 4: Anatomy of a Scene -- Tyrion’s Trial,” series creator D.B. Weiss discusses the effect the trial has on the future of the Lannisters while co-producer Bryan Cogman mentions the long history among the family members. Cogman says, for as much as Cersi, Jaime, Tywin and Tyrion all have their moments in “The Laws of Gods and Men,” the body language and what is unsaid is even more interesting during the trial.

The trial scene was not as complex as the Purple Wedding or a few of the larger battles previously seen in “Game of Thrones,” but still posed a challenge and was a large set that featured extras as well as several main characters. As for the trial itself, Oberyn is an unknown variable, while Tywin finds himself in an unfamiliar situation as Tyrion’s trial is “beyond his control,” according to Weiss.

Shae’s testimony and Tyrion’s dramatic speech to those in attendance get their own separate clips. Dinklage delivers a great performance, confessing to the crime of being a dwarf while demanding a trial by combat in the first “Game of Thrones” clip, while Sibel Kekilli, Lena Headey and Dinklage discuss the impact of Shae’s testimony in the third clip.

“A Song of Ice and Fire” creator George R.R. Martin discusses the Iron Bank in the next “Game of Thrones” Season 4 clip. The Iron Bank of Braavos has been getting more screen time in recent episodes, with the Lannisters increasingly in debt to the bank, and the power it can wield over kingdoms.

The “Game of Thrones Season 4: Inside the Episode #6” further explores the Iron Bank, including its unique place in a fantasy series next to things like magic and White Walkers, and Tyrion’s trial. Benioff and Weiss also discuss Yara’s rescue mission and the torture of Theon, now known as Reek.

“The Laws of Gods and Men” also has an interactive viewer’s guide that includes profiles of Tycho Nestoris, Salladhor Saan and Yara Greyjoy.
