The quarter just ended and gold is on track to lose nearly 25 percent of its value: Gold Reporter Mike Obel sat down with IBTimes TV to discuss the precious metal and how it might do in the next quarter. The reason for gold's fall was primarily the unprecedented steps taken by the U.S. Federal Reserve to boost the nation’s money supply. Another reason was the way in which gold has responded to interest rates.

But the question we wanted to know is where does gold go next? Economists are skeptical of gold returning to its glory days with predictions that it will continue to head south. Mike was able to give us an insight into why the precious metal had such a terrible quarter, and whether or not it can bounce back in the next three months.
