The 33rd Grandma’s Marathon on Duluth was won by Christopher Raabe of the men’s race and Mary Ankor was winner of the women’s race for a third time in a row.

Christopher Raabe is a Minnesota native and became the first American to win the men's race in 14 years.

Raabe ran his fastest career time to finish in an unofficial 2 hours, 15 minutes, 14 seconds to win by about 3 minutes.

Nigerian-born American Ankor from California defended her first place title just six seconds ahead of Russian Alina Ivanova.
