A former soldier in the first Gulf War married the woman who two decades ago, when she was 13 years old, became his pen pal when he was in the war.

With a picture they exchanged through the mail, Jamie Benefit remembered her old friend soldier Jeremy Clayton and made online searches of him on Facebook. After recognizing him by his eyes, they added each other as Facebook friends, met each other and then ended getting married.

Jeremy said he had felt shock in awe when he met the grown up Jamie for the first time. He had only a picture of her when she was 13. Back then he was 19.

When Jeremy was asked when he knew she had to be his wife he said, I believe that first meeting that we had for sure, I knew right then.

Jamie said she had found her soul mate.

The story was featured on CBS' Early Show with Maggie Rodriguez.
