Lee Pace, the star of AMC’s “Halt and Catch Fire,” spoke to TV Line at Comic-Con about the possibility of a guest appearance on NBC’s “Hannibal.”

Pace recently finished filming the premiere season of “Halt and Catch Fire,” the AMC drama about the early 1980s tech boom, which airs its Season 1 finale Sunday, Aug. 3. He says he’s “getting a little itchy trying to figure out what the next thing is.” That next thing might be reuniting with “Hannibal” executive producer Bryan Fuller. Fuller produced the ABC show “Pushing Daisies,” which featured Pace. The actor says “it’s very likely” the two will work together again.

When asked specifically about a possible guest appearance on “Hannibal,” Pace said, “I had lunch with Bryan two days ago” and “it came up.” He then spoke at length about his admiration for Fuller and the show. “I love what Bryan is doing with ‘Hannibal.’ It’s like an indie movie,” said Pace.

“Hannibal” follows the unique relationship between an FBI investigator and serial killer Dr. Hannibal Lecter. The show was renewed for a third season in May.

Lee Pace and Bryan Fuller seemed very happy catching up with each other at San Diego’s Comic-Con over the weekend.

So what’s to stop the happy reunion? “I’m on another television show,” says Pace, suggesting appearing on competing networks might “halt” those plans for a while.

For now, fans will have to tune in to the “Halt and Catch Fire” finale on Aug. 3, 10 p.m. EDT to catch Pace in action.
