TOKYO - Idemitsu Kosan Co, Japan's third-largest refiner, said on Tuesday it restarted a 160,000 barrels-per-day (bpd) crude distillation unit (CDU) at its Aichi refinery in western Japan on Nov. 21 after scheduled maintenance.

The CDU, which had been shut since Sept. 27, was set to be restarted in late November.

The company has four refineries in Japan with total crude refining capacity of 640,000 barrels per day. (Reporting by Osamu Tsukimori)
