Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi said he's no saint referring to a sex scandal he finds himself entangled.

Berlusconi told an audience of business leaders and local government officials that he was not a saint, and by now you've all realized it.

On Tuesday L'Espresso news magazine released more tapes of what it said were conversations between Italy's leader and a high-priced call girl.

The magazine published for a second day tapes purporting to show Berlusconi talking with Patrizia D'Addario, who claims was paid to attend social events with the Italian leader and visit his Rome residence.

Berlusconi, 72, has not denied that the woman went to his Rome residence, but last month he said that he was not aware of the fact that she was an escort, a claim D'Addario rejects.
