In next Monday’s episode of The CW comedy series “Jane The Virgin,” Jane Villanueva (Gina Rodriguez) and her baby daddy Rafael Solano (Justin Baldoni), will continue to navigate through the early stages of parenthood. Meanwhile, various characters will try to sort out their respective relationships.

[Warning: Spoiler Alert!]

According to the Episode 3 synopsis shared by TV Guide, Jane and Rafael will be planning baby Mateo’s baptism. Jane had a strict Catholic upbringing and her child’s Christening is sure to be a very important event.

Rafael will continue to try to stamp his authority over the Villanueva women, who are all hovering over his child. Not to mention that he is also trying to win back Jane. She is still undecided if she wants to be with him or her ex-fiance, Michael Cordero (Brett Dier).

As if things aren’t complicated enough, Rafael will tell Jane that his ex-wife Petra (Yael Grobglas) is pregnant with his child. In the episode trailer, Rafael is seen telling Jane about Petra’s pregnancy, and Jane could not help but blurt out some profanity.

Meanwhile, as Rafael and Jane deal with their baby and Petra’s condition, Michael is trying to find a way to get back together with Jane. He will find an ally in Jane’s dad Rogelio (Jaime Camil), who offers some advice.

When it comes to relationships, however, Rogelio might not be the best person to consult. He and Jane’s mom, Xiomara (Andrea Navedo), are still in limbo after his issues about his ex-wife were revealed. Next week, his ex will make an appearance and this will cause further complications between him and Xiomara.

“Jane The Virgin” airs every Monday at 9:00 p.m. EDT on The CW.
