The world is seeing a new side of January Jones, best known for playing wife Betty Draper on AMC’s “Mad Men,” after the actress starred in a movie that required her to go topless.

  • Photos have surfaced of the 35-year-old Jones topless (WARNING: photos are NSFW) for her new role in the film “Sweetwater,” which premiered at the Sundance Film Festival in January. However, now that the film, billed on IMDB.com as “Sweet Vengeance,” has debuted on DVD in the UK, stills from the movie emerged online of a half-naked Jones. The Daily Mail also has the trailer and other movie stills, showing Jones with her new red-colored hair and toting around a gun.

The film is a Western thriller set in the 1800s. It follows Sarah (Jones), an ex-prostitute who has recently become a widow, as she gets her revenge “on the rugged plains of the New Mexico Territory.” That’s when she gets into a battle with Sheriff Jackson, played by Ed Harris, and a prophet, played by Jason Isaacs, who have wronged her and her deceased husband.

So far, there is no U.S. release date so it is unclear whether or not the film will make it to theaters. However, “Sweet Vengeance” is set to premiere in France in early October.

Meanwhile, Jones has been the subject of rumors lately after reportedly being linked to actor Liam Hemsworth. Reports circulated earlier this year that “The Hunger Games” star had cheated on his fiancé, singer Miley Cyrus, with Jones and frequently "sexted" the blonde actress. Gossip spread even more when Us Weekly reported the duo were seen canoodling at a house party and were photographed together in the back seat of an SUV.

However, a day after Hemsworth and Cyrus called off their engagement, a source told E! News that Jones “has nothing to do with this.” Hemsworth’s publicist told E! that the reports were just “tabloid fiction” since the two were spotted together at a pre-Oscars party.

"The story of Liam Hemsworth and January Jones is entirely fabricated by US Weekly. There is no truth whatsoever to this tabloid fiction," his rep said.
