A Japanese fundraiser program entitled Art, Love and Japan took place in Sugar Cafe at downtown San Francisco on Wednesday evening May 25 2011.

The activities included live art auction, flamenco show and raffles. People were also invited to share and spread love.

It was organized by a group of friends/artists who live in the SF Bay Area, feeling helpless for the victims, especially the children who lost their parents in the recent Japan earthquake. They wanted to raise money through varied art forms, for example, selling original art works.
