Victor Company of Japan, Ltd. (JVC) announced Friday that it will begin taking orders in July for the world's biggest rear projection television.

The unit has a 110 inch screen, weighs 727 lbs and is priced at 6.4 million yen ($52,597).

The dimensions of the JVC model HD-110MH80 in inches are 96x54x110.

The television is so large that JVC is taking the precaution of visiting clients' homes beforehand to see if there is enough space for the unit. If not, the order will not be accepted.

Delivery is expected in October.
