Tonight, Tuesday, Season 8 of American Idol premieres and the newest addition to the team of judges is Kara DioGuardi.

Singer-songwriter-producer Kara DioGuardi has joined judges Simon Cowell, Paula Abdul and Randy Jackson that has formed the show's backbone since its early days.
