Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge, aka Kate Middleton, is getting waxed by Madame Tussauds -- four times!

Three of those four figures will be unveiled on April 4 in Amsterdam, London and New York City, People magazine reported. The fourth one will be seen later in the month in the UK.

It is the first time that we have had a member of the royal family make their debut in multiple locations, a representative for Madame Tussauds told the magazine.

So what will the duchess' figures be donning?

The London one will have her blue engagement dress, the New York one will have the lilac dress she wore at a BAFTA event in Los Angeles, and the Amsterdam figure will wear the black lace Alice Temperley dress she wore to the London premiere of the film War Horse, People reported.

The Duke of Cambridge has already been waxed.

Wax figures can be a hit - or a very big miss.

A wax figure of Twilight hottie Robert Pattinson debuted in Shanghai, China in December. It was his second wax figure, and it looked like a good imitation of the actor. The same could not be said for Nicolas Cage. A wax figure of the Ghost Rider actor was unveiled in January at the Musée Grévin in Paris, France -- and it looked far older than the real thing.

The upcoming wax figures of the Duchess, however, should prove to be quite good, not to mention extremely popular.

They will also come with a royal stamp of approval.

All four designers have been involved in making the dresses and the Duke and Duchess have kept informed at every stage of the creation process, the representative for Madame Tussauds told People.
