Kate Middleton wowed in a recycled green Catherine Walker coatdress as she visited the opening day of the Chelsea Flower Show with her husband Prince William and brother-in-law Prince Harry on Monday. It was the royal couple’s debut at the flower show and they were there to view the Princess Charlotte chrysanthemum. It was a family day out for the British royals as Queen Elizabeth II, Princess Anne, Prince Andrew and his daughters Princesses Eugenie and Beatrice as well as Sophie, the Countess of Wessex, made appearances.

All the ladies looked summer ready in their dresses. Kate’s dress is by one of her favorite designers Catherine Walker, also a favorite of Princess Diana. Her dress featured long sleeves, high neck, fitted bodice with a matching zipper detailing and a flared skirt. The dress was also cinched in at the waist with a wide belt that had a matching buckle and showed off Kate’s slim waistline.

The 34-year-old royal opted for nude lipstick and smoky eyes. Her long brunette tresses were swept back from the eyes in a side part and twisted and fastened with clips. Her hair was also styled into loose waves.

The Duchess of Cambridge accessorized with her diamond drop earrings. She carried a small nude box clutch bag and wore matching pair of LK Bennett high heels. William and Kate saw a new chrysanthemum named after their daughter Princess Charlotte, which was the highlight of their visit. The Princess Charlotte chrysanthemum is pink with green tips and is known as the Rossano Charlotte, and has been entered in the Flower of the Year category.

The flower has been produced by Dutch company Deliflor, the world’s largest chrysanthemum breeder. The pair, along with Harry, toured the different exhibits, the theme of which was “Health, Happiness and Horticulture.” They also admired the special arch that was erected to celebrate the queen’s 90th birthday and also the sea of poppies in the grounds of the Royal Hospital in Chelsea.

The queen was dressed in a pale-blue tailored coat with a matching pastel, floral dress and white gloves. She made an appearance with her husband, Prince Philip and accessorized with a floral brooch in keeping with the flower show theme. Elizabeth also wore a three-string pearl necklace and matching earrings. She carried her famous black Launer handbag and wore a pair of black shoes.

Eugenie wore a white fit-and-flare dress with floral detailing on the skirt with strappy silver pointed toe pumps. Beatrice meanwhile opted for a blue full skirt with a structured leather detail top and maroon strappy shoes. Eugenie carried a cream colored clutch while her sister carried a navy one.

Sophie also attended the opening day, which is typically reserved for royals and celebrity guests in a floral Alexander McQueen dress and black cropped jacket.
