Kevin Federline was invited to join a family barbeque with ex-wife Britney Spears and their sons on Sunday afternoon at Spear's new home which he accepted, according to People magazine.

It was reported that Federline arrived at the new house at about noon to pick up sons Preston and Jayden but was instead invited by Spear's father, Jamie, to stay for the barbeque.

Federline left with his two sons around 5 p.m.
