“Keeping Up With the Kardashians” star Khloé Kardashian was “proud” to be on the cover of the May issue of Shape magazine, but she wasn’t thrilled with the picture they chose. The reality star took to Twitter to promote the new issue, but added that she was dissatisfied with the “simple grey look."

“Super excited about my @shape_magazine cover spread on stands now!” she wrote Tuesday. “Be proud of [your] shape. Be proud of [your] journey.”

Her joy didn’t last. An hour later, she tweeted her disappointment. “Love Shape mag and I'm thrilled to be on the cover but we took so many better cover images,” Kardashian, 31, said. “I wish they would have used the other set ups over that simple grey look.”

But she wasn’t down for long. More than anything, Kardashian was pumped to be on the cover of the fitness magazine. “But how f---ing crazy that me... ‘The fat one’ is on the cover of Shape!!! Ha!” the “Strong Looks Better Naked” author mused.

The magazine didn’t respond to Kardashian’s diss. It simply retweeted her positive message that she was “super excited.”

Cover aside, Kardashian dished inside the magazine that she likes to wear makeup and hoop earrings to the gym, a choice that is normally frowned upon. “I also always wear hoop earrings; they’re like my security blanket,” she said. “I’m inspired to do an extra squat or an extra lunge. People laugh at me, but why not? They make me feel more dressed up. I also wear makeup when I work out. I put on a tinted moisturizer, mascara, and cherry lip balm, and fill in my eyebrows. If I feel cuter with a little lip color and mascara, why should anybody else care?”

The magazine isn’t the only thing Kardashian has to worry about. She is also in charge of babysitting her nieces. The “Kocktails with Khloé” host shared an adorable picture of herself with North West (Nori) and Penelope Disick (P).
