Reality TV star Kim Kardashian channels Marilyn Monroe on the newest cover of Vogue Brazil. The 34-year-old wife of rapper Kanye West puts her platinum blond curls and famous cleavage on display on the cover. But like the 1960s bombshell, Kardashian didn’t suffer a nearly windy wardrobe malfunction on the streets of Beverly Hills.
She is pictured in a pair of sexy black leather gloves while reclining on a leopard blanket, showing off her ample cleavage a la Monroe. The second cover showcases Kardashian’s curves as she poses in a cropped turtleneck sweater and fitted black skirt, leaving her midriff and blond locks the center of attention.
This cover marks the third time she has been on the cover of the style bible. The mom of North West was previously featured in Vogue Australia’s February issue as well as a U.S. cover in 2014. The newest cover is for the Brazil magazine’s June body issue and was released Tuesday, according to E! Online. Givenchy designer Riccardo Tisci previously dubbed Kardashian a modern-day Marilyn Monroe. The designer said in 2014 that everyone thinks Kardashian is like a doll, but she is actually tough and clever.
It’s not clear exactly when the cover shoot was done. But the reality star had rocked the blond look during Paris Fashion Week in March. Her colorist Lorri Goddard said in an exclusive interview during that time that it was just the right time for a “color adventure” for Kardashian.
The “Keeping Up With The Kardashians” star took to Instagram and shared the video clip of the shoot. She said in an interview less than a month ago that she loved her blond look and wished that she could have kept it a little longer. But the reality TV star had to go to Armenia with brunette locks, so she changed her hair color. Kardashian said that she will have to wait for a couple of years to do the color again as her hair was damaged during the last blond stint.
