“Keeping Up With the Kardashians” star Kim Kardashian shocked some fans during Sunday night’s episode of the hit E! show when she announced she might try to have another baby, even though she suffered serious difficulties during her last two pregnancies. The raven-haired beauty is reportedly willing to forgo her health for a third child because things are going well with her husband, rapper Kanye West.

“Whenever things are going great with Kanye, Kim talks about having another baby,” an insider told People Magazine Monday.

But Kardashian, 36, had high-risk pregnancies with North, 3, and Saint, 1. Still, getting pregnant would be “a great storyline for the show,” the source said. “Everyone knows she had major medical complications during her other two pregnancies.”

In the past, Kardashian “was very clear that she didn’t want to get pregnant again.”

“She felt it’s not worth the risks,” the insider said. “She has two amazing, gorgeous kids already and feels very lucky.”

But that’s not what the reality star-turned-business mogul said on Sunday’s edition of “KUWTK.” She seriously considered getting pregnant for a third time.

“I want my kids to have siblings, but the doctors don’t feel like it’s safe for me,” she said. “I’m going to try to have one more baby,” she told sisters Kourtney and Khloé Kardashian.

But her family was concerned about her health. “I don’t want you to do something that would put you in danger,” her younger sister said.

“You could bleed to death,” mom Kris Jenner told her in a previous episode.

With both pregnancies, Kardashian suffered from preeclampsia and placenta accreta. The star detailed her experience in a blog post titled, “High-Risk Pregnancy,” in November 2015.

She described preeclampsia as something “only about 5 percent of women get.” She added: “It causes your body and face to swell, and that was very uncomfortable for me. I had early-onset preeclampsia and I had to deliver at 34 weeks, almost six weeks early.”

Placenta accrete is when the placenta does not dislodge after birth. “My doctor had to stick his entire arm in me and detach the placenta with his hand, scraping it away from my uterus with his fingernails. How disgusting and painful!!!” the reality star wrote. “My delivery was fairly easy, but then going through that — it was the most painful experience of my life!”
