KKR Private Equity Investors LP reported Friday that its net asset value rose slightly for the quarter which ended March 31.

Guernsey-based KPE has most of its investments in Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co. funds.

The net asset value was $2.63 billion, 0.3 percent higher than previous quarter. The net asset value per share was $12.82.

Among the most significant gains from the firm’s $116.9 million increase were a $58.1 million increase of its investment in Dollar General Corp. The firm’s investment in HCA Inc rose $52.1 million.

Asset declines were led by $73.0 million drop in the value of its investment in Energy Future Holdings Corp.
