Kris Jenner Reacts To President Barack Obama’s Diss On Kim Kardashian And Kanye West

President Barack Obama’s comment, earlier this month, about Kim Kardashian and rapper boyfriend Kanye West’s over-the-top lifestyle setting a bad precedent for future generations, has not gone down well with Kardashian matriarch Kris Jenner.

Obama, earlier this month, had said: "We weren't exposed to the things we didn't have in the same way that kids these days are. There was not that window into the lifestyles of the rich and famous. Kids weren't monitoring every day what Kim Kardashian was wearing or where Kanye West was going on vacation and thinking that somehow that was the mark of success."

The “Keeping Up With The Kardashians” star addressed the issue on her talk show “Kris” saying she was surprised that Obama singled out Kardashian and West.

“I find it so odd that he's picking on Kim Kardashian and Kanye West. Well, Kanye West, first of all, doesn't go on vacation. Ever," Jenner said, according to Huffington Post. "And Kim Kardashian is the hardest-working young lady in the world. She never sleeps, she never stops, she never slows down and works so hard for what she's got."

According to Huffington Post, Jenner suggested that Obama was being hypocritical when he said Kardashian and West lived in a 10,000-square-foot home, considering his friends, too, live a life of luxury.

“I bet the President has some friends with 10,000 square foot houses and that he wouldn’t mind going over there… when [he was] asking them to have a party for [him] while [he was] campaigning for dollars to run for president,” Jenner said.

This is not the first time President Obama has criticized Kardashian or West. Obama had once called West a “jackass” for butting in when Taylor Swift was being honored at the 2009 VMA.

And last year, at the White House Correspondents' Association Dinner, Obama mocked Kardashian saying, “Seriously, what am I doing here? I'm the President of the United States, and I'm opening for Jimmy Kimmel? … Why am I telling knock-knock jokes to Kim Kardashian? What is she famous for, anyway?”
