Reality television star Kylie Jenner faced social media backlash Sunday for asking her followers to visit a GoFundMe page for her personal makeup artist, who was recently involved in an unspecified accident. Jenner is believed to be worth hundreds of millions of dollars, raising questions as to why she can't personally help her makeup artist.

Samuel Rauda reportedly will undergo brain surgery at a cost of $60,000. Jenner, 23, has an estimated net worth of $700 million, according to Forbes.

“Everyone take a moment to say a prayer for Sam who got into an accident this past weekend. And swipe up to visit his families’ [sic] go fund me," Jenner's Instagram story read.

The fundraiser has a goal of $120,000 and as of Sunday, it has raised just shy of $100,000. Jenner hasn’t released how much money she’ll be donating, but a contributor under the name, “kylie jenner” donated $5,000 to the page.

Social media posts quickly pointed out that Jenner could fund the sum without public contributions.

As of Sunday afternoon, Jenner has not responded to the criticism.
