With Labor Day comes the unofficial end of summer, but there’s more to the holiday than packing up your bathing suit and getting ready for pumpkin spiced lattes. Labor Day was created to honor workers from 100 years ago forced to work 12-hour days, seven days a week. Most Americans have Monday off because of this.
