“The Revenant” actor Leonardo DiCaprio gave the side eye that went viral when Lady Gaga passed him at the 2016 Golden Globe Awards presentation Sunday. As she walked to the stage to accept her award as best actress in a miniseries or motion picture for TV, DiCaprio giggled and jeered. Viewers at home went wild, and apparently so did Gaga’s fiance, “Chicago Fire” star Taylor Kinney.

“Taylor was not going to let anyone make fun of his future wife, even if they are an A-list actor,” a source told Radar Online in an exclusive report Monday. “It was her moment to shine and she worked very hard for that award.”

The “American Horror Story: Hotel” star was acknowledged for her role as The Countess on the hit FX series, and Kinney, 34, asked the Oscar-nominated actor to apologize. “He basically told him in a nonconfrontational sort of way that he should apologize to her because it was flat-out rude and extremely unprofessional,” the source said.

Turns out, the Mother Monster “intentionally” bumped into DiCaprio because he was so noisy. “Gaga was not about to let him steal her moment, and she wanted to shut him up,” the source said. “She would have ignored it, but when her name was announced as the winner, Leo was laughing so loud that people far away from his table heard it. He was making a total scene.”

DiCaprio, 41, denied his apparent diss was intentional. “I just didn’t know what was passing me,” he told Entertainment Tonight after nabbing a Golden Globe of his own Sunday.

Gaga didn’t address the incident on social media. Instead, she thanked Kinney in an Instagram post after she failed to mention him in her acceptance speech. “I am so grateful to the Hollywood Foreign Press. Thank you Taylor for being right there for me the whole way through. Monsters, never lose hope in yourself. This is for my brilliant manager @wanaynay. Staying in the fight is the true test. Never give up on your dreams,” she wrote.
