Mark Zuckerberg and girlfriend Priscilla Chan are vacationing in Vietnam. The couple might actually get some peace and quiet since Facebook is banned in the communist country.

According to The AP, Zuckerberg and longtime girlfriend Chan arrived in Vietnam on Dec. 22 with a group of friends via private helicopter. They spent Christmas Eve touring the popular locale of Ha Long Bay and spent Christmas Day at an ecolodge in the northern mountain town of Sapa. Zuckerberg even took some time to ride a buffalo.

Chan and the Facebook CEO have been dating since their sophomore year at Harvard University. They met one Friday night at a party thrown by Jewish fraternity Alpha Epsilon Pi. Chan, who is a Chinese-American from the suburbs of Boston, chatted up Zuckerberg while in line for the bathroom.

He was this nerdy guy who was just a little bit out there, she told the New Yorker last year.

Zuckerberg left Harvard in 2005 to focus on developing Facebook and recruited classmates, including Ms. Chan. According to The Harvard Crimson newspaper, she told him, I'd love a job at Facebook, and then offered him a Twizzler.

On her personal Facebook page, Chan lists Zuckerberg as her partner. According to tech write Sarah Lacy, she also has a set of rules to keep their relationship solid. One date per week, a minimum of a hundred minutes of alone time, not in his apartment, and definitely not at Facebook.

Vietnamese website Tuoitre News reported that the couple has already spent $6,000 on traveling via private chopper. But for Zuckerberg, 27, a man worth billions, this sum is mere pennies.

Some speculate that Zuckerberg is not only there for leisure but also for labor. The Facebook founder may be in the process of expanding the social network to Vietnam, were social media is developing.

Facebook is blocked by government censors, but locals can still access the site relatively easy. And yet they currently choose Vietnam's Zing Me over Zuckerberg's Facebook. All of that may soon change.
