Ryan Alexander Jenkins, the Megan Wants A Millionaire potential winner, has been charged on Thursday of murdering his 28-year-old ex-wife, Jasmine Fiore, a playboy model, according to California authorities.

Jasmine Fiore was found dumped in a trashcan in Buena Park, California on Saturday August 9. It was apparent that she had been strangled to death, police said.

Jasmine Fiore's mutilated body was found naked in a suitcase in a trash bin in Buena Park on Saturday August 9. Her fingers and teeth were found missing, according to a report on E! News.

Jenkins, 32, a Canadian businessman disappeared after reporting Fiore missing on Saturday night to the Los Angeles County sheriff's department, then he cut off contact with police.

Buena Park Chief of Police Tom Monson said police received information Wednesday that Jenkins could have escaped to Canada.

Police agencies across Canada were on the lookout for him.

Jasmine Fiore was last seen alive with Jenkins at a poker game in San Diego. Reports suggest the couple’s marriage was in trouble and Fiore planned to leave her husband.

On Megan Wants a Millionaire, Jenkins was among 17 men described as millionaires, who all competed for the affections of former Playboy model Megan Hauserman.

When introduced on the show, Jenkins was said to have a net worth of $2.5 million.

Jenkins had wed Fiore in Las Vegas this year.
