Getting inspired from the reel life? Meryl Streep, who is known for her flawless and elegant style, has hired actress Lupita Nyong'o's stylist Micaela Erlanger. She called Erlanger to help her present herself during the PR campaign for her latest film, “Ricki and the Flash,” in which she plays a rock star.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Streep wore a fashion-forward Balmain jumpsuit on one occasion and a leopard-print dress by Derek Lam on another. For the premiere of her movie, Streep wore a Valentino dress and matching shoes.

It is not clear whether Erlanger will take over for Streep's longtime style advisor Zoe Buck, THR writes. “One thing's clear: Streep is pushing her own fashion boundaries. Modern, chic and surprising -- Miranda Priestly would approve,” writes the website.

Streep is garnering excellent reviews for her performance in “Ricki and the Flash,” in which she stars alongside daughter Mamie Gummer and rocker Rick Springfield.

Streep praised her daughter's acting capabilities. "She's brave and fearless and funny and free," Streep said about her daughter's work at the premiere of "Ricki and the Flash" in New York City, People magazine writes. "She's a free talent. It doesn't have any cover-up -- she's the real deal."

Meanwhile, Gummer, 35, was worried about working with her mother since the two do not share a cordial relationship on-screen. "There's this one scene where I really was quite eviscerating and I was worried about if my words actually wounded her. But after the first take, I looked over and she just had this big grin on her face, so that was a pleasant surprise," Gummer told People.

“Ricki and the Flash” is slated for an Aug. 7 release.
