The Mexico soccer team defeated the United States with a score 2-1 in the 2010 World Cup Qualifier at the Estadio Azteca in Mexico City on Wednesday afternoon.

Miguel Sabah, a substitute scored in the 82nd minute, lifting Mexico to a 2-1 victory over the United States.

The victory lifted Mexico into the third automatic qualifying place in the North, Central America and Caribbean region, with nine points from six games.
