Supermodel Naomi Campbell has reportedly settled the ongoing lawsuit with a former maid.

Campbell, who accused her of verbal and physical abuse, reached a settlement with Gaby Gibson but terms of the deal have been kept private.

However, a lawyer for the 38-year-old Campbell says both sides were pleased with the outcome, according to the Associated Press.

Gaby Gibson, the maid that filed the lawsuit in Manhattan, claimed that Campbell threatened to charge her with theft after being unable to find a pair of jeans. The model then allegedly threw a cell phone at the woman's head, causing lacerations that required four stitches.

This is not the first time Campbell has a run-in with the law. She served 200 hours of unpaid community work in June last year after she was found guilty of kicking and spitting at police officers at Heathrow Airport.
