“Nashville” Season 3, episode 9 will celebrating Christmas, but “Nashville” holidays are sure to come with lots of drama. After Rayna (Connie Britton) won all of her CMA Awards, she and Luke (Will Chase) are more in demand than ever. Rayna will continue to let the media into her personal life to promote her label, according to the latest episode synopsis, but it might backfire on her.

Rayna is doing a televised holiday special from her home with Luke and their kids. Singing with the kids shouldn’t be too dramatic -- until Deacon (Charles Esten) shows up. “When Rayna invites Deacon to join the filming, things get awkward fast -- her magazine cover story has reverberations for her personal life,” the episode 9 synopsis teases. Rayna revealed very personal details to Rolling Stone about her relationship with Deacon. The interview was in exchange for the reporter keeping Maddie (Lennon Stella) and Colt’s (Keean Johnson) make out session out of the article, but Luke might be upset that she revealed so much.

Deacon, however, might be prompted to once again declare his feelings for Rayna. In the promo video, he says, “I love you, and that ain’t gonna change.”

Those outside of Rayna’s family will be performing at Nashville’s Winterfest. Will (Chris Carmack) and Layla (Aubrey Peeples) will “each find solace but separately,” while Scarlett (Clare Bowen) coaches Terry (Mykelti Williams) to help him perform. Terri “blows them away but cannot handle the limelight,” according to the synopsis. He and Scarlett might have to overcome their stage fright together. Avery (Jonathan Jackson), Gunnar (Sam Palladio) and Zoey (Chaley Rose) will also have the opportunity to perform -- but can Zoey and Gunnar still work together after their break up?

While the episode won’t air until December, fans can already check out the music from the episode. The 12 song soundtrack, “Christmas With Nashville,” is available now.

“Nashville” Season 3, episode 9 airs Wednesday, Dec. 3, at 10 p.m. EST on ABC.
