As if New York City isn’t crazy enough, customers at a café in the West Village got far more than they bargained for when they walked in. As the morning commute set in, customers were in and out of the café getting there morning usual’s. However, on this particular Monday, they also watched an angry young woman use her "telekenetic powers" to lift a man off the ground and stir up trouble around the café.

Few things actually scare New Yorkers, but this was certainly one of them. What they didn’t realize is that the entire situation was staged as an elaborate prank to promote the upcoming film “Carrie.” The movie, opening in theaters on Oct. 18, is a remake of the 1976 original by the same name.

We must say the creative team on this project hit a home run with a viral video to promote the movie.
