Nokia today announced that as of 27th September 2006: based on its 2003 and 2005 employee stock option plans; 114,344 of its shares were subscribed to.

This led to an increase in Nokia's share capital of 6,860.64 Euros and an increase of 1,693,999.04 Euros in other shareholders equity. The increase means that Nokia share capital now stands at 245,662,119.06 Euros, and it's total number of shares stands at 4,094,368,651.

The new shares carry full shareholder rights from today, the registration date, 3rd October 2006. The shares are also to be admitted to public trading on Helsinki exchanges on the 3rd October, along with the old Nokia share class.
