Chairman of Photo Me International Plc, Vernon Sankey announced at the company's AGM on the company's current trading situation and a strategic review update. Photo Me International is a FTSE 250 digital imaging company.

He announced that the Vending Division had made a "solid start to the year' in a released statement. He also spoke of the "continuing roll out of digital kiosks' especially in France and Switzerland that was "delivering encouraging returns.'

It is expected that the first half will suffer as PMI's minilab makes the transition from its second generation DKS 15xx to the third generation of DKS 3. However the second half is predicted to be more successful because of the sale of the DKS 3.

Sankey said in a statement, "We are continuing to evaluate a number of opportunities for new product developments in both the wholesale lab and minilab business.'

The company confirmed that a strategic review was ongoing, but whether this would lead to an offer being made for the company was uncertain.
