What would it be like to have a big pirate ship right in your bedroom? Through a hole on the wall, one can slide down a slide that leads to this unique pirate inspired bedroom featuring a large pirate ship high on the ceiling.

There is a wooden rope bridge that is connected to the ship which even has a crow's nest and a big steering wheel.

“We used 2×12 ribs to construct the hull of the ship, covering them with layers of half an inch plywood to act as the planking. Our genius faux finisher developed a bomb-proof blend of plaster and epoxy with integrated coloring to simulate an old ship’s hull,” according to designer Steve Kuhl of Hopkins, MN-based Kuhl Design Build.

One can climb down from the ship via a rope that leads to the dressing room below. Another access to the bedroom is a jail cell with a custom steel door, which serves as the base of the rope bridge.
