Array Biopharma, Dell Inc, ARM Holdings, Sprint Nextel Corp, Barclays Plc, Freeport-McMoRan Copper, United Therapeutics, Research In Motion Ltd and J.C. Penney Co. are among the companies whose shares are moving in the pre-market trading Monday.

Gainers

Array Biopharma Inc. (NASDAQ:ARRY) stock surged 3.26 percent to $4.43 in pre-market trading. The company stock was upgraded to an “overweight” rating from “neutral” rating at Piper Jaffray with a price target of $7.00.

Dell Inc. (NASDAQ:DELL) shares surged 3.25 percent to $14.60 in pre-market trading. A special committee of Dell’s board is evaluating separate takeover proposals from Blackstone Group and billionaire investor Carl Icahn to decide whether either or both are likely to trump an existing $24.4 billion take-private deal, Reuters reported citing a source familiar with the discussions.

ARM Holdings Plc (NASDAQ:ARMH) stock gained 3.04 percent to $41.32 in pre-market trading. The stock has a 52-week low of $21.64, a 52-week high of $44.47 and $18.46 billion in market capitalization.

Sprint Nextel Corp. (NYSE:S) stock surged 2.28 percent to $6.28 in pre-market trading. The stock has a 52-week low of $2.30, a 52-week high of $6.22 and $18.49 billion in market capitalization.

Barclays Plc (NYSE:BCS) stock gained 1.51 percent to $18.19 in pre-market trading. European banking shares surged Monday after Cyprus secured $13 billion of emergency loans early in last-minute negotiations with international lenders to avert a collapse of the island nation’s banking system.

Freeport-McMoRan Copper & Gold Inc. (NYSE:FCX) stock gained 1.33 percent to $33.44 in pre-market trading. The stock has a 52-week low of $30.54, a 52-week high of $43.65 and $33.17 billion in market capitalization.

Losers

United Therapeutics Corp. (NASDAQ:UTHR) stock slumped 6.30 percent to $57.11 in pre-market trading. The company announced Monday that it received a second complete response letter from the United States Food and Drug Administration (FDA) declining to approve its new drug application (NDA) for treprostinil diolamine extended release tablets (oral treprostinil) for the treatment of pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH).

Research In Motion Ltd. (NASDAQ:BBRY) stock plunged 5.70 percent to $14.06 in pre-market trading. The stock has a 52-week low of $6.22, a 52-week high of $18.32 and $7.68 billion in market capitalization.

J.C. Penney Co. (NYSE:JCP) stock declined 1.81 percent to $15.15 in pre-market trading. The stock has a 52-week low of $14.20, a 52-week high of $37.46 and $3.38 billion in market capitalization.
