The Chinese search engine company reported the second quarter net profit of 7.86 renminbi or $1.24 per American Depositary Share (ADS), up from 4.67 renminbi or $0.72 per ADS in the same quarter a year ago while analysts expected a net profit of $1.12 per share.

Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. (GT) stock gained 2.09 percent to $10.25 in pre-market trading. The company stock was upgraded to neutral rating from sell rating at Goldman with a price target of $13.

NXP Semiconductors NV (NXPI) stock rose 1.87 percent to $22.39 in pre-market trading. The company reported the second quarter adjusted net income of $0.45 per share on revenues of $1.09 billion while analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected a net income of $0.40 per share on revenues of $1.05 billion.
