In recent weeks Rihanna has come under fire for reunited with her abusive ex-boyfriend Chris Brown. It has been confirmed that the two will collaborate for a track and Ri Ri's fans are beside themselves with disappointment. Social networking sites have been flooded with disapproving words from the public. Several celebrities, such as Reese Witherspoon have labeled Rihanna's situation a cautionary tale. The Barbadian singer's poor choice of actions has saddened many. Yet it seems that she herself is facing emotional grief and this may be blamed on Adele.

The British singer has risen to supper stardom and her image is easy to identify with. So why is she the cause of hardship for Rihanna? US Weekly reports that Adele's haunting lyrics are depressing for the star. She stated:

I feel like everyone in the world identified with [21], to the point that I had to stop listening because it was depressing me so much. If you identify with it, sometimes you don't want to hear about it.

Perhaps Adele's painful illustrations of love and its brutal realities hit too close to home. She also told the mag that single life isn't for her, revealing:

You want to share your life with someone. That's what I'm missing right now.

Her fear of being alone will no doubt fuel rumors that she and Chris Brown are indeed an item again.
