Saudi Arabian judicial authorities have beheaded three people -- two Saudis and one Syrian -- after their conviction on charges of drug trafficking, the country’s interior minister stated.

The three condemned men, identified as Massud al-Dossari, Daij al-Dossari and Syrian Ahmed Balji Oghlu, were executed in the Hasa region of the eastern province of the kingdom.

Agence France Presse reported that 35 people have been executed so far this year in Saudi Arabia.
