Leaked pictures from the production set of “Star Wars Anthology: Rogue One” show extras wearing Stormtrooper uniforms and taking a break during filming. One of the pictures also indicates that the movie will take the viewers back to a familiar planet.

[Spoiler Alert!]

The pictures posted by the Mirror show some of the cast and crew taking a break on the set. The pictures appear to have been taken using a drone and are said to be from a location at Elstree Studios in England.

Stormtroopers gather around an Imperial Lander on what appears to be a desert planet. The report notes that this could be Tatooine, familiar from the original trilogy. The images also show weapons, props and other set pieces that will be used in the movie. The report suggests that the large orange containers seen in one of the pictures may belong to the Rebel Alliance.

The main plot of the movie revolves around the Rebel Alliance stealing the plans of Empire’s first superweapon known as the Death Star. The movie will focus on the events that took place just before the 1977 movie “Star Wars: Episode IV – A New Hope.”

According to a report by MakingStarWars, the Landers being used in “Star Wars Anthology: Rogue One” are the same ones that were used in the J.J. Abrams movie that has finished filming and is currently in the post-production phase. A source has reportedly said the white Landers from the movie have been painted gray for the spinoff movie.

The Lander that Finn [John Boyega] gets into in “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” as a Stormtrooper is said to be similar to the one seen in the leaked pictures. The report notes that the Imperial Landers have remained almost the same for about 40 years, with minor changes like the paint on the outside.

“Star Wars Anthology: Rogue One” is slated to be released on Dec. 16, 2016, in the U.S. Some of the cast members of the movie include Felicity Jones in a female lead role, Forrest Whitaker, Ben Mendelsohn, Diego Luna and Riz Ahmed.
