OSLO - Norway's StatoilHydro said on Friday that it was working to restart oil production at its Statfjord C platform within hours after fixing a leak of oily water which had shut down Statfjord C satellite fields.

They are working to start production later this afternoon, spokesman Geir Gjervan said, adding there would be no big production impact from the shutdown.

He said the leak of produced water, which contained some oil, was stopped on Friday morning.
