Stephanie March’s character will return to “Law & Order: Special Victims Unit” after a nearly six year hiatus.

March who plays New York prosecutor Alexandra Cabot left the show in 2003 when her character was forced into witness protection because of efforts to break a drug cartel, according to Associated Press.

March will guest star for six episodes beginning February 17, series executive producer Neal Baer said Thursday. The show airs at 10 p.m. EST Tuesday.
