Susan Boyle, the singer who caught media attention worldwide during her performance on the Britain's Got Talent competition said fame was like a demolition ball for her.

The impact - like a demolition ball. And anyone who has that kind of impact finds it really hard to get a head around it, Boyle told NBC's Meredith Vieira in an interview in London which aired Wednesday.

Boyle became an unexpected star with frizzy hair and thick eyebrows on her first appearance at the British show. However her voice captivated millions. In the interview which aired today, she had a new haircut and trimmed eyebrows which she said were part of a slight make over.
