Law & Order: SVU star Mariska Hargitay has suffered a collapsed lung according to her rep, reported Access Hollywood.

Mariska Hargitay has been sidelined with a pneumothorax (a partially collaped lung), the rep said.

The actress in spite of her conditions will appear in all remaining episodes of the season.

The symptom can be caused by a chest injury like a puncture wound or broken rib, but can occur without injury.
