STOCKHOLM, Dec 14 - Nordic telecoms operator TeliaSonera (TLSN.ST) said on Monday the rollout of its 4G network in Sweden and Norway would cost 500 million crowns ($70.24 million) in 2010.

We will launch (4G) in at least 25 cities before end of 2010, said Kenneth Karlberg, the head of the Swedish operator's mobile services division, referring to the Swedish launch.

Services would also be launched in four cities in Norway, the company said.

In Denmark, we expect licenses to come up in the first quarter of 2010, he said.

The firm, the Nordic region's biggest telecom operator, said in a statement earlier on Monday its LTE networks in Oslo and Stockholm were the first in the world to use the new generation wireless technology.
