Rapper T.I. was released from prison Tuesday morning after serving a 7 months at a penitentiary in Arkansas, the Atlanta Journal Constitution reported today.

T.I. whose real name is Clifford Harris Jr. was sentenced to a year and a day in prison and is expected to serve the remaining months in a correctional center.

To complete his full sentence, T.I. also has to do 500 hours of community service and 23 days of home incarceration.

T.I. was sentenced earlier this year for charges in 2007 when he sent his bodyguard to purchase machine guns and silencers.
