Time Warner Cable's Profit Tops Estimates
Time Warner Cable Inc.'s quarterly profit topped analysts' expectations, helped by a growth in residential services revenue.
For the second quarter, earnings attributable to the company were $420 million or $1.24 per share.
Revenue rose 4.4 percent to $4.94 billion.
Analysts on average had expected earnings of $1.16 a share, excluding items, on revenue of 4.94 billion, according to Thomson Reuters I/B/E/S.
